Terms and Conditions of your stay

Cancellation Policy

 

Credit / Debit Card Guarantee

A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation (AMEX is not accepted).

No prepayment is required and no payment will be taken at the time of booking. Your card details are held securely as a guarantee for your reservation, and you will pay upon arrival.

 

CARD GUARANTEE & PRE-AUTHORISATION

The property reserves the right to pre-authorise your card for an amount up to the total value of your booking. A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold and is not a payment or charge. The availability of these funds may be temporarily affected until your card provider releases the hold.

 

Your card may also be charged in the event of a cancellation in accordance with our cancellation policy. If no cancellation is received and guests fail to arrive, the full value of the reservation will be charged to the card provided.

 

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival date. Please note that the arrival date is not counted as part of the 2-day cancellation period.

 

Cancellations made within the 2 days immediately preceding the arrival date will be charged the full price of the reservation.

Example: If your arrival date is Friday, you must cancel no later than Tuesday to avoid a cancellation charge. Cancellations made on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday will incur the full charge.

 

Travel Insurance

 

We strongly advise all guests to take out appropriate travel insurance when making a reservation. This can help protect you against unexpected circumstances that may affect your travel plans and help avoid any inconvenience or financial loss should you need to cancel within the chargeable cancellation period.

 

Group Bookings

 

For group bookings of 4 or more rooms, a minimum of 2 weeks’ advance notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations made with less than 2 weeks’ notice will be charged the full cost of the booking.

Westlands observes a strict confidentiality policy and account details will not be made available to any third party.

Check-in is from 15:00. If arriving after 21:00, please call to notify us in advance, and check-out is from 08:00 to 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are available for £10.00 per hour.

 

Applicable to Apartments

 

Pets - We do not allow pets in any of our apartments.

 

Smoking - All apartments are completely non-smoking.

 

Breakfast - the apartments are strictly self-catering and we can't offer breakfast

 

Applicable to the Guest House

 

Pets - We do not allow pets in any of our rooms.

Smoking - All bedrooms & public areas are completely non-smoking.
